City of Mati through the City Tourism Office conducted trainings on Front Office Operations and House Keeping Procedures to accommodation service providers in the city at La-ne’s Kitaanan.
Hotels and resorts operators learned from the experts in the industry through the assistance of the Department of Tourism (DOT) XI. Rodel Pagobo talked about his expertise in housekeeping procedures while Daisy Anne Castro shared her long experience in front office operations.
The quality of the guest experience is dependent on the quality of front office operations and the processes in place to handle guest needs. Since staff members are instrumental in forming a friendly and trusting relationship with the guests, said operation and procedure are very critical to a successful guest experience.
Mayor Carlo Rabat intends this activity to serve as the rallying point in boosting the usual tourism programs anchored this time to a platform of continuing progress to level up further its visions and thrusts that are at least commensurate to prevailing development standards and attuned to a fast changing world around us.
