The National Bureau of Investigation’s clearance center in the City of Mati is now ready to serve the public.
This was made possible after Mayor Carlo Rabat and NBI Director Dante A. Gierran along with NBI XI Regional Director Arnold Rosales led the inauguration of the NBI Satellite Office later this day at MDI Building, Rizal Extension, Brgy. Central, City of Mati.
In his message, Mayor Carlo expressed his profound gratitude to the bureau for extending its services to the people of City of Mati and the province of Davao Oriental in general through the realization of the satellite office in the city.
Being true to his advocacy of continuing progress, government services are now very much closer to the people.
On the other hand, Director Gierran also shared his appreciation to the local government in responding to the challenge of the present administration to be more significant in its programs where people can have easy and fast access to its services. The City of Mati’s NBI satellite office is a clear manifestation to this disposition, he said.
The said office was established through the foresight, initiative and persevering efforts of Mayor Carlo with the support of the City Council headed by Vice Mayor Glenda Rabat-Gayta, and with the guidance and assistance of Director Gierran even at the outset as then Region XI Director.
